One of the joys of Singapore being a diverse multicultural society is the distribution of public holidays across all faiths and cultures. 2 New Years a year – very cool.
For Chinese Lunar New Year this year, we decided to cash in some of Mark’s hard earned Hyatt hotel stays and leverage that platinum status for some family love.
Kuantan seemed like a short drive on the map, and the resort looked like a postcard on the Hyatt website – sadly neither were entirely true, but after an 8 hr marathon drive, the beach was almost worth the wait.
This is Huge’s with Gloria from Madagascar 2 (she loves me cos I’m chunky) enjoying the sunshine.
We got a visit from the dragon, who wanders around eating fruits, banging drums and giving blessings….
and messed around on the beach.
